Punjab National Bank recently launched the scan and pay feature in its PNB One app on August 23, 2022. PNB One app allows users to transact from One account to another account using various types of transactions like Within Bank funds transfer, NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, UPI, etc. Let us know how the scan and pay features work:
What is Scan & Pay in PNB One app?
Considering the emerging need of customers for quick payment, Scan & Pay feature has been provided to allow users to transfer money using QR code – Bharat QR code & UPI QR code through PNB One app.
Process for payment using QR Code through PNB One app is as under
Steps to be followed:-
- Login to PNB One
- Click on option Scan & Pay (Camera permission should be allowed)
- Scan the QR Code for making payment
- On next screen, user has to select Debit Account Number and enter the amount to be transferred.
- Transaction has to be authenticated using TPIN for payments up to Rs. 5000 and TPIN &OTP for payments above Rs. 5000.
