The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has appointed Shri Neeraj Nigam as Executive Director (ED) with effect from April 3, 2023.
Sh. Neeraj Nigam was heading the Bhopal Regional Office as Regional Director before promotion. He served in Regulation and Supervision, Human Resource Management, Premises, Currency Management, Bank Accounts, and other areas of the RBI for more than three decades.
Duties of Shri Neeraj Nigam as ED:
- Consumer Education and Protection Department
- Financial Inclusion and Development Department
- Legal Department
- Secretary’s Department
Qualification of Shri Neeraj Nigam
Shri Nigam graduated in civil engineering from Barkatullah University, Bhopal. Apart from this, he has earned the professional qualification of Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (CAIIB).
