    Safi Khan had 22 years of banking experience. A healthy, vibrant man with no medical history. Yet, he collapsed suddenly due to cardiac arrest.

    His wife, Nida, doesn’t believe this was just bad luck. She blames the toxic work culture, excessive pressure, and constant harassment that had pushed him beyond his limits.

    Safi had already resigned months ago, but was convinced to return—only to be subjected to the same environment that he was trying to escape.

    🔹 Sadaf Fatima (Lucknow Office) – Collapsed at work.
    🔹 Shivam Mehrotra (Mumbai) – Died during a conference call.
    🔹 Safi Khan (Mumbai) – Collapsed while preparing for a client meeting.

    All three were between 35-45 years old, their best years—wasted under extreme workplace pressure.

    This cannot be dismissed as a coincidence. This is a pattern.


    Why Are Banking Jobs Becoming Life-Threatening?

    1. Extreme Sales Pressure & Target-Based Harassment

    • Employees face unrealistic sales targets, often for products like insurance, credit cards, and loans.
    • Managers threaten staff with poor appraisals or even job loss if they fail to meet targets.
    • Work hours stretch far beyond official timings, yet banks refuse to compensate for overtime.

    2. No Work-Life Balance, No Health Consideration

    • Many banks lack proper employee health insurance, even while forcing staff to sell insurance policies to customers.

    She also revealed that she had emailed the authorities in December, expecting action—but only received empty words of condolence.
